Hi there! I’m Tim, a Hobart Marriage Celebrant. I create awesome weddings, elopements and vow renewals in Southern Tasmania.

My ceremonies are professional, personal and authentic; made just for you. Maybe you already have a vision of exactly what you would like? Or perhaps you are looking from some guidance. We will work together to create something meaningful, that suits who you are. I particularly love ceremonies that are lighthearted and simple celebrations, as well as being absolutely kickass!

My website is designed to match my personality and give you an idea of my style as a celebrant. I’ve shared some of my “ceremony stories” as well as posts about my hobbies and interests on my blog. If you like what you see here, chances are we will get along. I would be thrilled to hear from you. Please send me a message or give me a call to check my availability. We can then set up a time to meet and see if I will be the right fit for your wedding.

A bit about me

2018 was my start as a marriage celebrant.  I was honoured to enter this role at a time when love between two people, regardless of gender, is being recognised in Australia. It was about bloody time!

Before becoming a celebrant, I cut my teeth in festivals and event management while also performing the duties of MC for many weddings. I just love creating moments! You’ll also regularly find me teaching, performing and DJing for swing dancing around Hobart and Australia.

Hobart has become my adopted home, after growing up in regional South Australia. With Hobart and southern Tasmania as my playground, I try to spend as much time exploring the wilderness, or enjoying the best food and drink on the planet. We are so lucky here.

Aside from swing dancing, which is a hobby that is well and truly part of my life now, I enjoy exploring landscape photography as well as learning yoga. I love trying new things.

If you google me, you’ll find I’m a bit of a spellbound Aurora Australis hunter.  I’ve been pretty lucky with our southern lights.
